Installation REQUIRES trimming rear valance of vehicle & bending hanger on BORLA muffler assemblies. The 2.25" diameter Cat-Back system has been specifically developed for the 3.0L V6 Hybrid engine in the Ford Explorer ST & Platinum. The ATAK Cat-Back system provides an aggressive, attention-grabbing sound with no drone inside the vehicle. The system contains a Merge X-Pipe for increased performance and improved sound. This system features quad (2 per muffler) 4" round bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. A system with black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips is also available. BORLA Cat-Back & Axle-Back exhaust systems feature patented straight-through and multi-core technology to unleash hidden horsepower. Increased exhaust velocity adds power, driving excitement, fuel economy, and the distinctive BORLA Sound of Power. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit.
